Balance for Better: Women in Leadership

On Dec. 4, 2019, Notre Dame MBA student clubs Mendoza Women in Business and Men as Allies hosted “Balance for Better: Women in Leadership,” a panel discussion featuring three accomplished ND alumnae in corporate leadership positions: Christina Fisher (EMBA ’12), chief financial officer of the American Hospital Association; Kari Hedges (EMBA ’12), senior vice president at Blue Cross Blue Shield; and Jeanne Jones (BBA ’01), chief financial officer of Commonwealth Edison. The alumnae discussed their career paths, important leaders in the workplace and outside it, and the unique challenges they have faced owing to their gender — challenges which have helped shape their approach to leadership and mentorship.
