Making the Case for Interfaith Dialogue

How can we bring about peace through dialogue and bridge-building? As part of an undergraduate course taught by Notre Dame Jerusalem faculty at the university’s academic center in Rome, Avraham Burg sat down with Margaret Karram, president of the Focolare Movement, an international Catholic organization dedicated to interfaith and ecumenical dialogue. Hear Karram discuss what it was like to grow up in the mixed city of Haifa, and her later experience as a Palestinian Christian studying in an American Jewish University. Karram goes on to reveal the story of the Focolare Movement and her work towards communion and tolerance.
