Domer Dozen 2019 Honoree: Adebola Giwa ’09
Dr. Adebola Giwa ’09 works as a pediatric endocrinologist at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center as part of a team that is researching a potential cure for type 1 diabetes. Dr. Giwa was one of the inaugural Domer Dozen honorees in 2019.
The Domer Dozen is a recognition program from the Notre Dame Alumni Association honoring graduates ages 32 and under. Those chosen represent an exemplary group of young Notre Dame alumni who continue to make a difference in one of the four core tenets of the Alumni Association’s mission statement—faith, service, learning, or work.
