Join the Klau Center for Civil and Human Rights as we present Jemar Tisby ’02, president of The Witness: A Black Christian Collective and author of The Color of Compromise and How to Fight Racism: Courageous Christianity and the Journey Toward Racial Justice.

Tisby received his MDiv from Reformed Theological Seminary and is currently studying race, religion, and social movements in the 20th century. He is co-host of the podcast Pass the Mic.

Building an Anti-Racist Vocabulary is a weekly lecture series presenting preeminent scholars, thought leaders, and public intellectuals to guide our community through topics necessary for a deeper understanding of systemic racism and racial justice.
