Climate Change and Security – Joshua Busby

Joshua W. Busby is a Professor of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin and formerly served as a senior climate adviser to the U.S. Department of Defense. He is the author of three books for Cambridge University Press, most recently States and Nature: The Effects of Climate Change on Security. He has published extensively on climate security, global climate governance, and the clean energy transition in the major economies. His current research involves coal phasedown in China and India, U.S.-China relations, and critical minerals. He received his Ph.D. from Georgetown University.
