Youth Sports & the Church’s Pastoral Ministry

An expert panel addresses four key components regarding the Catholic Church’s pastoral ministry as it relates to sports and the Vatican document “Giving the Best of Yourself”. The panel includes Ed Hastings of Villanova University, Michael Poole of Positive Outlook, Vince Guider of Old St. Pat’s Church and the North Lawndale Kinship Initiative, and Kristin Sheehan of the Play Like a Champion Today Educational Series. This session was a part of A Symposium on the Church & Sport, hosted by the University of Notre Dame on March 7, 2019.
