The art of coaching is a delicate dance of motivation, challenge, intelligence, and strategy. Fr. Pete McCormick, C.S.C. ’06 M.Div., ’15 EMBA, and Fr. Nate Wills, C.S.C., Ph.D. ’99, ’03 M.Ed., .05 M.Div. sat down with Niele Ivey ’00, Notre Dame women’s basketball head coach and expert practitioner of this art, to talk about her approach and the qualities all of us can look for in finding a coach (life, spiritual, financial, or otherwise!) that can help achieve our goals.
