School Choice: Courtney Martin

Join the Klau Center for Civil and Human Rights as Courtney Martin, activist and author of Learning in Public: Lessons for a Racially Divided America from My Daughter’s School, explores the divisive issue of school choice.

Courtney Martin is the author of four books and the popular newsletter Examined Family. She is a co-founder of the Solutions Journalism Network, FRESH Speakers, and the Bay Area chapter of Integrated Schools, as well as the Storyteller-in-Residence at The Holding Co.

Building an Anti-Racist Vocabulary is a weekly lecture series presenting preeminent scholars, thought leaders, and public intellectuals to guide our community through topics necessary to a deeper understanding of systemic racism and racial justice.

Lectures are available to the Notre Dame community via Zoom. Registration with a valid nd.edu or alumni.nd.edu is required. Join us on Friday, 09/24/2021, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. ET.
