The fraught emotions of the COVID-19 pandemic unfold in this interactive sound installation which ran in May 2021 in the Great Hall of O’Shaughnessy. Out of Silence was directed by Mark Brennan Doerries, produced by Daniel Stein, and engineered by Dan Nichols, Aphorism Studios. The project was made possible with support from the Institute for Scholarship in the Liberal Arts, and from Sacred Music at Notre Dame, College of Arts and Letters, University of Notre Dame.
