Forum 17-18: Global Citizenship for Human Development: A Conversation with Muhammad Yunus
Muhammad Yunus, a social entrepreneur, banker and economist from Bangladesh who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006 for founding the Grameen Bank and pioneering the concepts of microcredit and microfinance, delivered a keynote address as part of the 2017-2018 Notre Dame Forum.
Established by Father Jenkins in 2005, the Notre Dame Forum has featured major talks by leading authorities on a wide array of complex issues, including immigration, sustainability, global health, the global marketplace, K-12 education and the role of faith in a pluralistic society.
