Each year, our Byzantine Studies Program offers a workshop with the year’s Byzantine Studies Postdoctoral Fellow. This year’s workshop, “Settlement, Space, and Society in Rural Byzantium,” is with our 2021–22 fellow, Dr. Mark Pawlowski, and speakers Dr. Pamela Armstrong (Oxford), Professor Leonora Neville (U Wisconsin–Madison), and Professor Effie Athanassopoulos (U Nebraska–Lincoln).
