Crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh: Virtual Flash Panel

On September 19, 2023, forces from Azerbaijan defeated local forces and took control over Nagorno-Karabakh, an area largely populated by ethnic Armenians. Since then, by some estimates, more than 100,000 people have fled to neighboring Armenia, prompting an international crisis response as the number of displaced persons grows.

The Nanovic Institute will host a virtual flash panel with both academics and those on the ground in Armenia today to discuss this crisis. Join us on October 24, 2023.
