Meet the Speaker: Muffet McGraw

Muffet McGraw spent 33 seasons as the Notre Dame women’s basketball head coach, earning two NCAA national championships (2001, 2018). With 936 career wins, nine Final Fours, and multiple titles, she is one of only five NCAA Division I coaches to achieve that combination of milestones. McGraw was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2017.  Whether it’s organizing food drives throughout the area or teaching her Sports Leadership class in Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business, Muffet remains active in the South Bend Community.  She now works as a basketball analyst for the ACC Network.   

Meet the Speaker: Ruth Riley Hunter '01, '16 EMBA

Ruth Riley Hunter ’01, ’16 EMBA was part of Notre Dame women’s basketball 2001 national championship team. She went on to win two WNBA titles and an Olympic gold medal, becoming the first woman named MVP of both the NCAA Final Four and the WNBA Finals. Ruth now serves at Senior Director of Team Development for the Miami HEAT and was inducted into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame in 2019. Ruth advocates for global health and child hunger through NBA/WNBA Cares, the UN Foundation’s Nothing But Nets, and No Kid Hungry.
