Meet the Speaker: Fr. Anthony Giambrone

Fr. Anthony Giambrone, OP, is a Dominican friar of the Province of St. Joseph (New York) and Vice-Director and Professor of New Testament at the École biblique et archéologique française in Jerusalem.  He is also Visiting Professor at Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich and at the University of Notre Dame’s academic center in Jerusalem.  In Spring 2024, he was the Macdonald Agape Distinguished Visiting Scholar of Scripture and Early Christianity at the Angelicum in Rome.  In addition to his academic publications, he is a regular contributor to several popular Catholic periodicals and the translator of several texts, including Theodor Haecker’s Vergil, Father of the West (Cluny, 2022).
