Rivka (Rebekah) Karplus, M.D., is a distinguished infectious disease specialist and medical consultant, currently serving in Jerusalem. Her extensive medical career includes roles at institutions like Maccabi Healthcare Services, where she has held positions as both a consultant and educator.
Alongside her medical expertise, Dr. Karplus has also made significant contributions to theological studies, particularly in her work on the life and legacy of Cardinal Aron Jean-Marie Lustiger. She has published works such as *Aron Jean-Marie Lustiger: l’identité juive de l’archevêque de Paris* and has translated Lustiger’s *La Promesse* into Hebrew. Dr. Karplus’s theological pursuits reflect her deep engagement with Jewish-Christian relations, informed by her background as both Jewish and Christian.
