Meet the Speaker: Dolly Duffy '84

Elizabeth “Dolly” Duffy ’84 is the executive director of the Notre Dame Alumni Association and associate vice president for University Relations. She oversees the daily operations of the Alumni Association including: communications, marketing, finance, technology, clubs, affinity groups, and professional, academic, spiritual, and service programs.
Duffy began her current role in July 2011. Previously she served as the Alumni Association’s associate executive director beginning in early 2008.
Duffy earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Notre Dame in 1984. She and her husband, Dan Fangman, who earned his master of business administration degree from Notre Dame in 1984, purchased Atchison Products in 1990. The company was acquired in 2007 by BIC Graphic USA. Prior to purchasing Atchison Products, Duffy spent five years working in public relations in St. Louis and Kansas City. She began her career as the press secretary for a U.S. congressman.
Duffy and Fangman live in South Bend and are the parents of five children: Reilly, Maggie, Liam, Kieran, and Flannery.
