Gustav Milne is a Project Leader for CITiZAN, and is responsible for overseeing the nationwide project from MOLA’s London office. He heads up CITiZAN’s three dedicated teams (London, York, and Portsmouth) and is responsible for developing the project.
He began working in archaeology in the City of London in the 1970s, gaining expertise in the excavation of waterfront sites along the Thames. He has worked on a wide range of sites, from Roman Saxon to Medieval, including the site of the Roman London Bridge.
