Ann Heneghan

Ann Heneghan is the principal and owner of Heneghan & Associates, Solicitors.  Ann is a native of Partry in County Mayo and started her career in Mayo.

Ann has had a keen interest in rugby throughout the years and has undertaken a training workshop and is also a judicial officer with World Rugby. She can adjudicate on cases involving the Pro 14, Champions Cup, Challenge Cup, and World Rugby. After being involved with Connacht Rugby for over 20 years as a club delegate, secretary to the Connacht Junior Team, member of, then Chair of Disciplinary, Ann was selected to be Junior Vice President in the 2018-2019 season and in 2020-2021 assumed the role of President of Connacht Rugby. Ann is the first woman to hold this position in Ireland.

Phaidra Knight

Phaidra Knight is an athlete, sports media talent, motivational speaker, and business entrepreneur. For nearly 18 years, she traveled the globe as a professional rugby player, establishing herself as one of the premier players in the sport. She made three appearances in the Rugby World Cup and was selected as the top player in the world in her position in 2002 and 2006. In 2010, she was named the US Rugby Player of the Decade. In November 2017, she became the first and only black American inducted into the World Rugby Hall of Fame. The former attorney is on the Board of Directors for USA Rugby Board and the Board of Trustees for the Women’s Sports Foundation (WSF). She also serves as the WSF President for 2021. Full Bio
