Forum 16-17: Tension City: The Televised Presidential Debates

As part of the 2016-17 Notre Dame Forum, Janet Brown, executive director of the Commission for Public Debates, Dorothy Ridings, former president of the League of Women Voters, and past debate moderators Jim Lehrer, former news anchor for PBS News Hour, and Bob Schieffer, CBS News journalist, joined University President Fr. John Jenkins, C.S.C. for a conversation on September 14, 2016.

The panel spoke on the history and future of televised presidential debates.
