Colloquium presented at the Notre Dame Center for Ethics and Culture’s 17th Annual Fall Conference, “You Are Beauty: Exploring the Catholic Imagination.” The speakers featured are John Waters and Daniel Mahoney. Waters is an Irish music journalist, author, and playwright. Mahoney is a professor of political science at Assumption College and editor of The Solzhenitsyn Reader. The 17th Annual Fall Conference explored the relationship between the imagination, beauty, truth, and religion in a variety of contexts, particularly the arts, music, architecture, literature, philosophy, theology, political theory, and the sciences.
