Fr. Ted Said…Golden Is Thy Fame – Celebrating 50 Years of Undergraduate Women at the University of Notre Dame: Lisa Herb ’88

Celebrate the invaluable contributions of our women students and graduates, both at Notre Dame and beyond, in their communities, our nation, the Church and the world.  Listen to stories that share the role women have played at Notre Dame in the past and present and consider ways we may continue our vital calling of becoming an ever more inclusive community in the future. Fr. Ted’s voice, photos and words will be included.  We’ll have speakers representing the decades — from the 1970’s until today!

Lisa Herb ’88 is a former resident of both Lewis and Walsh Halls. Lisa was a Government & International Studies major and came to Notre Dame from Edmunds, WA, a suburb of Seattle.  She currently resides in Seattle and is the Executive Director of the Alliance for International Women’s Rights and a practicing attorney in the area of commercial litigation. She speaks as part of the Alumni Association’s Fr. Ted Said…Speaker Series during Reunion 2022. The series offers thought-provoking talks by ND faculty and alumni that explore the world’s most pressing problems and honor the legacy of Fr. Hesburgh.
