Annual Walk the Walk Week Candlelight Prayer Service

On January 17, 2024, the Notre Dame community gathered to reflect on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy and to pray for an end to racism, inequality, and injustice in our communities, nation, and world as part of the ninth annual Walk the Walk Week. Keynote reflections were offered by Salima Rockwell, Notre Dame Volleyball Head Coach. University President Rev. John I. Jenkins, C.S.C., presided. The evening also featured music from Notre Dame’s Voices of Faith Choir. The service was part of Walk the Walk Week, a week of events designed to foster dialogue and reflection on making Notre Dame an even more inclusive community.
