Sharon Yoon Book Launch: “The Cost of Belonging: An Ethnography of Mobility and Solidarity in Beijing’s Koreatown”

Sharon Yoon, assistant professor of Korean Studies at the University of Notre Dame, launched her book “The Cost of Belonging: An Ethnography of Solidarity and Mobility in Beijing’s Koreatown.” She was joined in discussion by Alyssa Park, an associate professor of history at the University of Iowa, and Andre Schmid, an associate professor of East Asian Studies at the University of Toronto.
