As part of the Fall Conference of 2017 called, “Through Every Human Heart,” the following talks were presented: John Haldane (University of St. Andrews, Baylor University) on “Art and Depravity,” and Abe Schoener (Scholium Wines) on “Baudelaire: The Aesthetic Experience of Disgust. This was a part of the Fall Conference of 2017 called, “Through Every Human Heart.” The Conference explored the perennial problem of good and evil, the significance of this distinction for human flourishing and the common good, and the place of good and evil in the theory and practice of various academic disciplines.
