“No Escape” By Nury Turkel: Book Launch and Discussion
Notre Dame Law School’s Religious Liberty Initiative hosted a book launch and discussion for Nury Turkel’s “No Escape: The True Story of China’s Genocide of the Uyghurs” on July 4 at the University of Notre Dame’s London Global Gateway. The event was scheduled to complement the International Ministerial Conference on Freedom of Religion or Belief, which was held in London on July 5-6. “No Escape” (HarperCollins, 2022) is a powerful memoir that lays bare China’s repression of the Uyghur people.
