Domer Dozen 2019 Honoree: Dr. Mikey Maurer ’11
Dr. Mikey Maurer ’11 works as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine. He focuses on providing health care to uninsured and underserved teens, ensuring access to the medical services they need. Dr. Maurer was one of the inaugural Domer Dozen honorees in 2019.
The Domer Dozen is a recognition program from the Notre Dame Alumni Association honoring graduates ages 32 and under. Those chosen represent an exemplary group of young Notre Dame alumni who continue to make a difference in one of the four core tenets of the Alumni Association’s mission statement—faith, service, learning, or work.
